AUTISMSTEM CELLRESEARCH STUDY
Greater Atlanta Integrative Pediatrics is enrolling individuals aged 3 and older with Autism Spectrum Disorder for an IRB-approved investigational research study — evaluating the safety and preliminary effects of stem cells combined with glutathione.

About the Study
GAIP Autism Spectrum Disorder Research Study
Greater Atlanta Integrative Pediatrics is conducting an IRB-approved research study evaluating the safety and preliminary effects of AdiaVita (umbilical cord blood-derived stem cells) combined with glutathione, compared to glutathione alone, in individuals aged 3 years and older with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The primary endpoint is the change in participants' Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC) total scores from baseline to Month 6. Secondary endpoints include safety and tolerability, incidence of adverse events, and changes in quality of life and overall wellness.
This study builds on promising early clinical research, including Phase I and Phase II trials at Duke University, which demonstrated cord blood infusions to be safe and well-tolerated in individuals with ASD.

Research Purpose & Key Questions
🎯 Primary Purpose
Evaluate the safety and preliminary effects of AdiaVita (umbilical cord blood-derived stem cells) combined with glutathione vs. glutathione alone in individuals with ASD, as measured by the Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC) from baseline to Month 6.
🔬 Scientific Basis
ASD is associated with chronic low-grade neuroinflammation, oxidative stress, and immune dysregulation. Phase I & II trials at Duke University demonstrated cord blood infusions to be safe and well-tolerated with no serious infusion-related adverse events in individuals with ASD.
❓ Key Research Questions
Is AdiaVita + glutathione safe for individuals with ASD? Does this combination show preliminary changes in ASD symptoms vs. glutathione alone? What are the incidence and severity of any adverse events associated with each treatment arm?
📊 Study Design
Two-arm study with crossover option. Arm 1 receives AdiaVita + glutathione. Arm 2 receives glutathione alone, with the option to crossover to AdiaVita at Month 3. Active IV treatment for first 3 months, with follow-up continuing through Month 12.
